Here are some examples of how to use 16ParameterSequencer and FlexLengthStepSq series.

16ParameterSequencerとFlexLengthStepSqシリーズの活用方法について、いくつかご紹介します。

16ParameterSequencer

It can be used in several ways, including

• Used for volume, pan reverb, etc.
• Like an LFO on a synthesizer
• Use it to switch modes of an effects pedal such as Amp

Interesting effects can be achieved not only on the master track  but also, for example, on the snare in the drum rack.

FlexLengthStepSq Series

For example, a 4-beat track can be crossed with a hi-hat at 15-beats, or a 4-beat track can be crossed with a slightly slower kick to create an organic rhythm track that returns to its original state every several bars.

The number of grids can also be specified by automation so that you can create characteristic rhythmic moments by adding variations to parts of the track.

You can also press the "Constraint" button to randomly specify a place where no sound will be played, so you can type in a foundation melody and arrange it with the "Constraint" button.

16ParameterSequencer

• ボリュームやパン・リバーブなどにかける
• シンセサイザーのLFO的に使用する

• Ampなどのエフェクターのモード切り替えにかける

などの使い方があります。

トラックのマスターにかけるだけでなく、例えばドラムラックの中のスネアだけにかけるなども面白い効果が出ます。

FlexLengthStepSqシリーズ

例えば4拍子のトラックに15拍子でハイハットを掛け合わせたり、4拍子のトラックにそれより少し遅い速度で鳴るキックを掛け合わせることで、数小節に一度元の状態に戻るような有機的なリズムトラックを作り出すことができます。

グリッド数はオートメーションでも指定できるので、曲の中の一部分だけ変拍子を取り入れて、特徴的なリズムのなる瞬間を作り出すことも可能です。

また、「Constraint」ボタンを押すと、音を鳴らない場所がランダムで指定されるので、土台となるメロディーを打ち込んで、「Constraint」ボタンで変化をつけることもできます。
