With the top green buttons, you can choose through or block each input signal magnitude.
You can choose all through or block with "All Pass" or "All Block" buttons.
To avoid unintentionally exceeding 0dB, this plug-in is designed to stay below 0dB even when the distortion is increased.

You can also use Dry/Wet to adjust the amount of distortion.
